James Lee Slatten, O.D.
Dr. Slatten has served Oklahoma residents and their families in vision for over 34 years. Dr. Slatten prides himself in revolutionary vision technology in glasses and contacts. Some of his specialties include in-depth diabetic examinations, Lasik and cataract consultations, dry eye treatment, anterior segment eye disease, and difficult to fit contact lenses. Dr. Slatten grew up in Lexington, Oklahoma. He received his bachelor of science degree from Oklahoma State University in 1974. Upon graduation from OSU, he moved to Memphis, Tennessee to attend Southern College of Optometry where he graduated in May 1978. Dr. Slatten is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. Professional certifications include anterior segment lasers, and current CPR certification for health care professionals. Dr. Slatten is a member of Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association and is a Noble Foundation Cooperator. He and his wife are members of Antioch Community Church in Norman, Oklahoma.
